ESYA BLUE ORCHID

Dabbling in various intriguing side projects over the last few years including, bass duo Kite Base and 180db with fellow Savages rhythm section member Fay Milton, ESYA has shared a new solo EP titled Absurdity of ATCG (II) - Emergent Form. Marking the release with a flickering video for its lead track 'BLUE ORCHID', which sees the artist moving freely in time with the music against rampant pinky-blue visuals. Repeating the unnerving vocal line "I only came here for the meat and then I got attached", throbbing synthesizers and saturated electronics paint an industrial portrait, not dissimilar to the apocalyptic electronica of Blanck Mass. Catch ESYA live at Notting Hill Arts Club on the 30th of November. -Holly Mullineaux
